Wedding: Michele + Sean

When I found out Michele from Blush Boutique (I mention her amazing boutique here, here and here) got hitched last Friday, I couldn't have been more happy for her! I saw the pictures (they took the pictures themselves!) and they really couldn't be any more adorable. Sean and Michele make a truly amazing couple who are always rocking some cool duds. I asked Michele to share some of the details of the wedding with me.

July 6th Sean and I tied the knot at Guelph City Hall. We wanted to keep the day about the two of us so we kept it secret...which was really hard to do..but we did it!

To gather ideas for our inspiration... my favourite wedding blogs were 100 Layer Cake, Green Wedding shoes, Ruffled, and of course Pinterest! We decided to go with a colour story of Black, ivory, soft pink, dash of cobalt & accented with Gold.

Sean & I knew we were going to do our own photos in our back yard...and we recently bought a white gazebo from ikea which was a great backdrop for our pics.We basically took our indoor furniture out of our house and put it outside. I love the look of a big arm chair sitting among grass and trees! After setting up our backdrop with  our record player, big arm chair, loads of pillows, big blankets, Sean's guitar, vintage luggage.. we set the self timer we were good to go!

It was a super fun day... the two of us.. stress free, relaxed and just being able to be ourselves in front of the camera. The big gold balloons were very inexpensive and such a fun prop for our photos... one of my favourite photos. I also made cute little graphic black and white "just married"  and mr. & mrs. signs for fun props for the big day. DIY's all round!

Our outfits... pretty simple but definitely our style. Cream lace for me... very Michele. Sean wore his linen blazer, slim twills and chucks ( so handsome). I whipped up our flowers with white peonies ( my fav) and pink flowers wrapped in striped ribbon!

Of course we had to have BOW in our background because it is a big part of our lives.. and was a pretty cute prop.

So there you have it... a little look into our day!

Congratulations Michele and Sean!
